It’s fall! Or, it’s nearly fall. Either way, I can’t stop thinking about sweaters. I do love sweater weather, especially before it gets so cold that we have to layer to death (at least here in Alberta). I’ve been on the hunt for amazing sweaters for the last few weeks and today I’m sharing some of my top picks.
Polo Neck Sweaters
I am obsessed with this type of sweater this year – not quite a turtleneck, not quite a cowl neck, perfect for cooler days. I’ve found three that I am loving at H&M for under $50:
Beige Marl Polo Neck Sweater – $39.99
Black Marl Polo Neck Sweater – $39.99
Grey Marl Polo Neck Sweater – $34.99
Every one of these sweaters is on my fall must-have list. They are perfect for braving the chilly temperatures.
My closest friends will be shocked to find this category on my blog because I normally despise turtlenecks, but this year, I am really drawn to a few dressier styles that would look perfect with leather leggings or dark skinny jeans. Here are a few of my favourites:
Zara Turtleneck Sweater – $35.90
Fine-knit Turtleneck Sweater – $19.99 (comes in multiple colours – I love the Olive Green, of course!)
Zara Turtleneck Sweater with Buttons – $35.90
Everyone needs a little bit of cashmere in their closet to make the cold weather feel a bit more bearable (luxurious even). I have found a couple of gorgeous ones at very reasonable prices:
Halogen Lightweight Cashmere Sweater – $122.32 ($89.00 USD)
This one comes in multiple colours and I would size up to get the oversize, loose look that I love paired with leggings or skinny jeans.
Halogen High/Low Wool & Cashmere Tunic – $177.30 ($129.00 USD)
The best part of cooler weather is digging out all my favourite sweaters. And you can bet that I’ll be adding a few (ok, probably more than a few) of the ones I’ve linked above to my current collection.
After all, it is fall.
Enjoy the pretty things in life,
