I have a tendency to wear a lot of neutrals, but did you know my favourite colour is blue? Well it is, so when I find some stunning and versatile pieces in my favourite hue, I have to grab them.
Today’s post features two pieces from Evy’s Tree, a California-based company that specializes in luxury hoodies and feminine wardrobe staples like button-down shirts and layering coats. Evy’s Tree was born out of the idea that women need everyday luxury for everyday life, a motto which I definitely agree with. Not only are these pieces beautiful on their own, they look amazing together and they are the best way to feature my favourite colour!
This is without a doubt the best button down shirt I’ve ever found. And I’m not exaggerating. I have a very hard time finding a good button down shirt that looks, feels, and fits perfectly and I have to say that this one is exactly all three. Made from the softest, pre-shrunk cotton, the Amy Shirt comes in several patterns, but the most gorgeous of all (in my opinion) is the French Floral, an option that can easily be dressed up or down, depending on your mood. Amy Miraflor, the founder of Evy’s Tree and the shirt’s namesake shared that the print was inspired by Belle’s gorgeous costumes in the live action Beauty and the Beast, which makes me love it even more.
The Amy Shirt runs true to size – I am wearing a size small.
Here is how I’ve styled the Amy Shirt in French Floral so far:
I have a thing for coats. Seriously, my front hall closet is a DISASTER for this very reason. Just about every season, I’m searching out a cute new coat to get me through rain, snow, or just a strong wind. After all, I live in Canada, so coats are kind of a necessary wardrobe staple. Again, I tend to pick neutrals, but I couldn’t resist the Stephanie Coat in Navy, especially when paired with the Amy Shirt. This is a coat that can be worn like a cardigan, is perfect for fall layering and is incredibly soft. It feels cozy without being bulky, which is always a plus AND the generous but flattering fit means you can easily wear a sweater under it without looking like the Stay-Puff Marshmallow Man ( a legitimate concern when it comes to layering and coats).
I do recommend sizing down if you prefer a more fitted look (I am wearing a size Small, and in retrospect, I probably could have worn an X-Small). This is a comfy and functional coat that will easily take you from late summer to early winter (I seriously can’t wait to pair it with my favourite blanket scarves when the weather cools down a bit more).
Here’s how I’ve styled the Stephanie Coat for early fall:
I love that these pieces look and feel high quality – it’s evident in the structure and composition on each piece, the perfect seams, and the soft but structured fabrics. This is not your run of the mill dress shirt or fall coat – these are classic pieces that will last for many seasons to come and I am so glad I could share them with you today!
Enjoy the pretty things in life,
Thank you to Evy’s Tree for sponsoring this post!
